The Part I was written by my good friend Connie...http://connie2close24@blogspot.com

She said confabulated memories seem real and are almost impossible to distinguish from memories that actually took place. But some parts of their memory were lost and instead of saying what really took place, nagdagdag na lang sila. Hindi lang ito syempre very evident sa friendster, know the people in your circle and you might find somebody having these "confabulated memories".

I have met alot of people...some are nice, some are bitchy and some who are quite disturbing. And these disturbing people are the ones I consider my soulmates... Not for anything in particular, its just I do consider myself quite disturb. Like what I told Connie during our last talk, I will definitely shut up if the person Im talking to is "a greater asshole than me!".

Like for instance, this girl that I met...she's about 12 years old. I met her in Santiago during a volunteer work for Darwin Initiative. She kept on blabbing about things, alot of which she says happened when her parents were alive. She is an orphan, and her other sister was given up for adoption. The doctor who was with us, explained why there are certain memories that people really spoonfeed their minds that had never happened but was suppose to, and this is like with the 12 year old.... her parents were killed when a land mine exploded and sadly, she saw how her parents died. So the last memories that was retained in her mind was the last thing that her parents had promised they would do. And that is...to play soccer with their other friends. So everyday, around 3pm, she would stop looking for garbage and heads back home and dresses up for a soccer game.

Memories, no matter how real or no matter what you may call it...are still fraction of happiness or sadness that gives a certain security to a person. For me, memories are all I have left of the people I know that have known that are now six feet below me...or people that I have lost contact with...or people who simply ignores me...

No matter how people describe me as an asshole... I don't often remember the bad ones, but I remember so vividly the good ones. Like yesterday, I was chatting with my bestfriend Tatiana...and she asked me if i still play the drums...and I told her, my drums are in the garage...starting to chirp of its color coz I haven't used them in years. Then there was a long pause...then we both started typing about the incident when she was borrowing my drums and she has this 500 peso bill that she was suppose to give me as rent-fee, although im not asking for any...But apparently, she gave the 500 bill to the tricycle driver, because she taught it was a 20 peso bill....so when she got to our place, she was crying like a baby...then we both said..."F***, we really do read each other's minds!" and I smiled....because it was so true.

What I really want to say with this blogger is the fact that...Everyone doesn't show 100% of their true self...in some ways people need to pretend even for a slightest bit of a time that they are normal or if not...a better person than the rest of us. But that doesn't mean, that these people do not deserve to be taken into consideration of what they are capable of doing. Sometimes pretending is dreaming the impossible, but yet people find happiness in believing that it is possible, even if it just through dreams.

My cousin Robert often says that there is no greater consolation nor greater happiness if you see yourself seeing the good in all people. Theres no harm in trying...so why don't we all do it now.

Isn't it ironic...I write something so freely about a topic that doesn't really reflect anything about me being an asshole...hmmm...just like Yoda would advice..." I sense a disturbance in the force! Meditate on this I will. " hahahaha..whatever! :P

My little team of goodlooking kids
Originally uploaded by fisherpau.

Our HR department held a children's workshop over the summer... it was interesting because I love children. And this is not the first time, I volunteered for children workshops..

My team consists of kids ages from 6 to 10, and most of them are funny, intelligent and good looking kids, especially my three boys :) very charming kids.

Actually...there were lots of talking as to why we are called the DRAGONFLY TEAM...and the only explaination my little cutie pies has is... " Tita Pauline, the boys likes the dragon, and we girls likes butterfly...so we are making a compromise...we will call our team DRAGONFLY" and I smiled and quietly thinking that kids are just darn amazing...

my kind of car...
Originally uploaded by fisherpau.

Eversince I was a kid...theres only one car that I wanted to have and wanted to show off... A CLASSIC VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE!!!

When I saw this car last saturday, I completely fell in love with it. My good friend Anna drives a 1967 top-down beetle which she bought on an auction in Germany. (well, she only lives in Switzerland so its not really a big problem buying it there). During 2002, when Volkswagen-Mexico announced that they would release their few remaining beetle, I was heartbroken.

The Mexico factory is the only hope I have in buying a beetle car, because I know somewhere in the world they are still making the love bug :)

Hay...the question remains is when...when will God give me a sign that it is the right time to get my own love bug... :)

Last week, I was glued to the BBC and CCN regarding the tragedy that shook the world... 1,200 children were hostage for 3 days in their school gymnasium in Beslan, Russia. It was so heartbreaking to see, and the same time so frustrating to know that there are people in the world whose mad enough to kill children. I do not know the real reason behind this crisis, the BBC says that the man responsible was a terrorist name Shamil Basayev who's family was killed when a bomb that Russia dropped in Chechnya.

When I was young, I thought I could never go through another day when my bestfriend was shot. Everyone who knows me, says that she was taken so young so that she can be my angel. I know that she is my angel. But that tragedy had changed me, made so much impact on my life, that I know I will never see things the same anymore. She was 9, two days before her 10th birthday, two men came to her...one looking at the road, while the other was pulling a gun from his jacket. He shot her in the head, killing her instantly...her body lies on the street, her blood was flowing like the sea. I couldn't do anything, I was numb. I saw everything that happened, but all I can remember was her face...looking at me. I was 10 feet away, her face was smiling and she was waving at me as if to tell me how much I suprise her by showing. Then the next thing I knew, there was a gunshot that changed my life.

Looking at the Beslan tragedy, I cry for the children that had suffered so much from these men whose wasted minds had cause a great pain and hearthache to the people around the world. I share the pain of the parents and their loveones. I may never fully know the depth of what a parent can feel, but I do sincerely feel their lost.

I urge you to pray for the souls of these children, and for the many men and women who had died so tragically caused by the differences our world has continually suffers from. A boundary which no one has a clue how to breach, and a belief that no one can rely upon.

For those who wants to make a contribution: The Sun Newspapre (UK's Biggest Newspaper) is making a fundraiser. Please address the check to: The Sun Fund for Beslan Kids, News International Treasury Department, Fleet House, Cygnet park, Hampton, Peterborough PE7 8FD or through Alliance & Leicester Bank, Besland Atrocity/The Sun Fund for Beslan Kids.

Everytime I hear someone says San Francisco, I keep on remembering Frank Sinatra's song... I left my heart in San Francisco!!! :) To me its just another one of those real romantic kicker songs of the past that even generation today appreciates... but last night, after having a much difficult debate with Liam... that song wasn't just a song..it became a phrase and a reality that I really did left my heart in San Francisco.

Liam and I have this wonderful relationship which none of us ever expected that could happen... he was a friend of friend, I had a crush on him like I had a crush with Mac and Bart... that kind of eternal crush that still makes me giggle like a bloody 13 year old schoolgirl! Honestly, everytime I tell him, that he is too good for me... he would always replies with a song... and we consider it as our song... You're Perfect by Semisonic. Well, I know its not that regular kind of love song. But he's no romantic, and he says that I bring out the Shakespearean side of him. The song goes something like this...

" That's a many new thing, that you're beside me and I want you to love me. I'm suprised that you never been told before, that you're lovely and you're perfect and that somebody wants you. That's a many new thing, you don't betrayed them by becoming familiar. I'm suprised that you never been told before that your priceless and your precious even when you're not new."

One thing for sure...he knows how to pick good music...hehehehehe....
